kian should be telling this story but im doing it on his behalf.. he was late for S&W yesterday morning.. after netball we went to change.. he couldnt find his phone in his bag.. so he asked me to call him, not taking it too seriously... i did.. and no sound came from his bag..it wasnt on silent mode..panic showed on his face..he went back to look for it on the track but found nothing.. there was still a dial tone, so i deduced that no one had taken it.. it was 10 00hrs

kian thought he had dropped it on the cab..i thought he had left it at home..after school he left his bag with me in the atrium and went home to look.. meanwhile, ivan, who was with us all this while but had left class earlier, kept messaging me the numbers of the cab companies as he read them off the cabs which passed by..haha...

when kian reached home, he found that he had left his keys in his bag..so he went to his neighbour's place, used mel to find my number, called me to fetch his keys all the way down to toa payoh...asshole

so i left genn with the bags and went down..THEM KEYS WERENT IN HIS ROOM! so kian went online to seek out the cab company numbers..called every cab company there was..on the way back to school he looked rather anxious..his mom was overseas and he wouldnt be able to get another SIM card.. all this while i kept calling his number.. there was still a dial tone..i prayed that God would help us find it..


back in school..checked with security: no luck..so we retraced his steps since he dropped off at the sports complex that morning...no luck in the carpark..then we went down the steps at the sports complex..check every drain and scanned every grass patch along the way..no luck..

then we went back to the netball court...nothing on the court..then kian noticed something lying on the edge of the soccer field.. he dashed forward and picked it up... it was his phone..time: 14 36hrs..


THANK GOD! as kian said, what are the chances of him finding his phone lying on the field after 4 and a half hours..imagine within that time, plenty of people passed it by but didnt notice it..it was just lying there waiting to be found for more than 4 hours! we had gone all over the island searching for it, asked every mercedes cab driver if he had found anything.. wow...thank the Lord! miracle eh? i knew God would help us find it..there WILL be MIRACLES when you BELIEVE..my faith repaid me in a way which i would never have expected.. when i prayed that God would help us find it, i was thinking along the lines of an honest cab driver returning it...that would be a miracle enough nowadays..but instead God decided to show that he is way more capable of more miraculous things than that..like WOW!



projects are confusing me..seems like everything that needs to be done has already been done...but somehow my other group members make it seem like there is plenty more that is undone! what makes it worse is that no one gives me much to do, and even if they do, it seems like the task does not leave much more to be accomplished..so i dont put much effort into it..it makes me feel bad to be slacking away when all my group members are slogging away..but i just dont know what to do! arghhh...so dumb
